Batch #14 is one for those who like a big, full-bodied coffee! Expect syrupy sweetness, earthy depth and hints of spice and smoky tobacco. This Old Brown Java from Indonesia has plenty of character, whether you enjoy it as an espresso or with milk in a latte or cappuccino.

Old Brown Java gets its distinctive character from what happens before roasting. The milled green beans are exposed to warm, moist air during the rainy season. As they age, their colour changes from green to brown, the acidity softens and the flavour becomes more pronounced.
The process recreates the character of Java coffee that once aged during long sea journeys to Europe. The result is a bold, earthy coffee with a touch of sweetness and enough intensity to carry through milk.
